Cormac O’Keeffe - Examiner.ie

ONE of the two women at the centre of a Garda Ombudsman investigation into several male officers who were recorded joking about raping them has said she is "still in shock" and could not stop playing the comments "over and over" in her mind.

A conversation by up to five gardaí, including a sergeant, as they drove back to Belmullet Garda Station, was captured on a digital recorder taken from the Dublin woman. At least three were laughing and joking at a fictional scenario of raping the women.
